Heerfordt Syndrome, Face

Heerfordt Syndrome, Face
Chronic subfrebrile temperatures with inflammation of the parotid gland, lacrimal gland, and iridocyclitis often combined with cerebro-spinal nerve paralysis. Here one sees the enlarged right preauricular region, the swelling of the outer upper lids, and the medically dilated pupils. The disease is thought to be an expression of sarcoidosis.
