| Choroidal Osteomas, bilateral | |
| OD: two sharply defined, non-elevated, light orange tumors. OS: Sharply defined large area of the posterior pole with extensive pigmentary changes. Both pictures strongly suggest a choroidal osteoma. The most definite proof of the diagnosis is an ultrasonogram which shows very hig reflectivity or a Cat scan which shows the dense bone in the choroid. Secondary changes like choroidal neovascularization, retinal detachment may occur. The tumors are often bilateral. | |
