Asymmetric Glaucomatous Optic Nerve Atrophy in Secondary Open Angle Glaucoma with PEX and Falxmeningeoma (MR-, DTI-, OCT-, FDT-, w-w-Perimetry- and Colour-Images

Brain and Optical Pathway
Feamle, 78 years, w-w-perimetry - Mean defect: OD: not measurable, OS 1,8 dB; visual acuity: OD nulla lux; OS 0,8; IOP: OD 44 mmHg, OS 14 mmHg. Assessment: A pronounced difference of the visual field between the right and left eye with secondary open angle glaucoma in pseudoexfoliation syndrome is present. Likewise the retinal nerve fiber layer thickness varied between eyes. Despite missings signs of microangiopathy and cerebral infarction, the left optic radiation is reduced in the DTI as compared to the contralateral side. There is no indication for a causation by the falx meningeoma.
