Meanocytic Nevus of the Caruncle
This pigmented lesion of the caruncle is not elevated and is darkly pigmented. Since pigmented lesions of the caruncle carry a higher risk than those of the conjunctiva of developing into a melanoma they should be observed regularly for potential growth.
